About the Wikimap project

The Wikimap project has been developed by a team of academics and technical staff in the School of Arts & Humanities at NTU. The project started as a way of supporting Modern Languages students during their year abroad placement, by providing student authored information about the experience of living and studying at a particular place with the aim of improving the provision of information that is up to date, detailed and relevant, for second year (and first year) students who are in the process of choosing where to go on their placement.
